  • 2 TBS olive oil
  • 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
  • 1lb ground beef
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1, 14.5 can diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups beef broth (vegetable broth can be used as a substitution)
  • 2 TBS gluten free chili seasoning (McCormick’s Gluten Free Chili Seasoning is good)
  • 2.5 cups gluten free macaroni pasta
  • salt to taste
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (Tillamook brand is good and melts well)
  • Optional: any extra garnishes your family loves like sour cream, extra cheese, etc.

This gluten free chili mac is the perfect weeknight meal. Done in 15 min. and bursting with flavor and cheesy goodness, it's beloved by all!

Ingredients

  • 2 TBS olive oil
  • 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
  • 1lb ground beef
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1, 6.oz can tomato paste
  • 1, 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups beef broth (vegetable broth can be used as a substitution)
  • 2 TBS gluten free chili seasoning (McCormick's Gluten Free Chili Seasoning is good)
  • 2.5 cups gluten free macaroni pasta
  • salt to taste
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (Tillamook brand is good and melts well)
  • Optional: any extra garnishes your family loves like sour cream, extra cheese, etc.

Instructions

  1. Add TBS olive oil to a large skillet with lid over medium heat
  2. Saute the chopped onions unitl translucent (about 3 minutes)
  3. Add the ground beef and garlic and cook until beef is browned
  4. Stir in the tomato paste, diced tomatoes, broth, seasoning and uncooked gluten free noodles
  5. Bring to a boil, cover and reduce heat to medium low
  6. Cook for approximately 7 mintues or until the pasta is al dente.
  7. Add salt if needed
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
