Are Any Little Debbie Snacks Gluten Free?
Now, before we embark on this snack-filled adventure, let’s get one thing straight. Little Debbie is known for their scrumptious cakes, cookies, and all things yummy.
However, Little Debbie does not currently offer any gluten free snacks. It’s a bit of a bummer, I know. But hey, that’s why I’m here. Together we will uncover hidden gems that will bring a smile to your gluten-free face 🙂
The easiest way to start is by checking out brands that are known for their ability to do gluten free REALLY well. We are talking about brands like: Enjoy Life, Simple Mills, Pamela’s Products, and Udi’s Gluten Free.
They offer an array of gluten-free treats that will make your taste buds jump for joy! From chocolate chip cookies to brownies, you can find a wide range of options that will satisfy your sweet tooth without compromising your gluten-free lifestyle.
So let’s take a look at some of the most popular Little Debbie snacks and see if we can find a GF equivalent. Sound good? Alright! Let’s do this.
Gluten Free Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pie

First up we have the Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pie. This classic favorite was actually the first treat created and sold by Little Debbie’s founder in 1935. So it just makes since that we start here, with the original.
These Katz Oatmeal Creme Pie cookies are dairy free, nut free and gluten free! Like many gluten free products they are smaller than the original Little Debbie snack cakes and there is only 4 in each box. On a more positive note, Amazon reviewers claim these creme pies are absolutely delicious and at less than $6 a box it doesn’t hurt to give them a try!
Gluten Free Little Debbie Swiss Rolls
Next up, we have my personal favorite. I loved the Swiss Rolls as a kid and was eager to see if I could find a GF alternative.

Welp, apparently a store-bought version doesn’t exist. So we’ll just have to take matters into our own hands.

Are Little Debbie Zebra Cakes Gluten Free?

As you probably guessed, Little Debbie Zebra cakes are not gluten free. But since they are essentially a yellow cake with creme filling that has been covered in white icing and decorated with stripes of fudge, they are pretty easy to recreate at home.
Get yourself a box of gluten free yellow cake mix (I love this GF cake mix from King Arthur) and some icing and you can easily create your own version of this popular snack cake.
Little Debbie Chocolate Cupcakes
Although Little Debbie Chocolate Cupcakes are not gluten free, there below is a version that is! The Katz brand comes to the rescue again with it’s own cream filled chocolate cupcake.
Gluten Free Little Debbie’s Honey Buns
While the Little Debbie Honey Buns snacks are definitely not gluten free, here is a honey bun that is safe to try. Yet another product from Katz, this version of the honey bun is sold in 4 count boxes and available to order on Amazon.
The Wrap Up
Well that’s a pretty decent collection of snacks to choose from! Remember, the key to gluten free eating is to not give up. If there is something you really want, in this case a Little Debbie snack cake, you can either find a store bought alternative or make you own version at home.
